The presidency has directed the immediate removal of 2027 Bola Tinubu-Shettima campaign billboards put up across the nation,
The directive was issued in a statement on Sunday signed by the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Mr. Bayo Onanuga, disclaiming the 2027 Campaign billboards nationwide.
It stated that President Tinubu had not endorsed or authorised anyone or any group to mount a 2027 campaign for him through any media channel,
According to the statement, the President and the Vice President were fully committed to delivering the present task of nation-building.
He further noted that while the President Tinubu and Vice President appreciate the teeming and loyal supporters for their enthusiasm, the two leaders do not support any campaign that breached the laws of the land.
The Presidential Spokesperson added that as soon as INEC approved the commencement of processes for the 2027 elections, President Tinubu will duly inform Nigerians of his plans.
