The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has recovered over N365.4bn and secured 4,111 convictions in 2024.

This is according to the EFCC Chairman, Ola Olukoyede through the agency’s spokesman, Dele Oyewale,

The EFCC boss spoke during the weekend in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, at the end of a three-day Retreat for Directors with the theme “EFCC: The Journey So Far, Ensuring Professionalism and Integrity.”

Olukoyede attributed the feat achieved to the commitment, sacrifices and dedication of staff, promising to go beyond the record in 2025

He stressed on the need to uphold an honest fight against corruption, adding that the EFCC’s workforce would turn out to be a team of honest, highly motivated and effective persons.

Olukoyede further assured all that in another six months, he would deliver a brand new EFCC in the nation.
