President Bola Tinubu has reiterated his administration’s resolve to equip the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) and improve the welfare of its personnel,
The President stated this during the weekend, at the passing out parade and commissioning of cadets of the regular officers Cours 6 of the Nigeria Police Academy, Wudil, Kano State.
He listed critical measures his administration was taking which included acquiring new vehicles, communication equipment, and forensic tools to enhance crime detection and prevention.
President Tinubu, who was represented at the event by Vice President Kashim Shettima, noted that, as a government committed to sustainable growth, his administration was fully aware that the development of any country was directly connected to the strength of its institutions
According to him, equipping the NPF was part of ongoing efforts to protect and serve citizens of the nation effectively.
