President Bola Tinubu has officially acknowledged receiving a memo from his official Spokesperson and Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, requesting to step down from all official responsibilities due to medical matters affecting his immediate family.
A statement from the Presidency made available to State House Correspondents during the weekend confirmed personal and health reasons for Ngelale’s request.
Following the review of the Presidential aide’s leave of absence request, he expressed full understanding and sympathy over the issues that warranted the decision.
The President noted Ngelale’s tireless efforts and dedication in serving the nation and appreciated his remarkable contributions in his various capacities
Ngelale had earlier announced his decision to step down from his roles within the Presidency citing family related reasons as a result of a medical situation
