French giants, Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) have reached an agreement to sign Super Eagles forward, Ademola Lookman.
The winger who won the Europa League with Atalanta last season was exempted from the squad that faced Leece in an away fixture on Monday; prompting discussions over his future
Ademola Lookman, now 26, was said to have asked for an exit from the club after attracting several clubs’ interest including PSG, Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester United.
However, a transfer to PSG might be the likeliest given the club’s eagerness to find a replacement for forward Goncalo Ramos who will be sidelined for the next three months after picking an injury in PSG’s opening match against Le Havre, a match which ended in a 4 – 1 win in favor of Luis Enrique’s side.
Lookman is valued at €40million by Atalanta and look ready to stand on the price tag.
The player joined Atalanta from English side Leicester City in August 2022 and has since scored 32 goals for the Italian club across all competitions.
In the final of the Europa League, Lookman scored a hattrick to win Atalanta their first trophy after 61 years.
