The Director-General of the National Identity Management Commission, (NIMC) Engr. Abisoye Coker-Odusote has cautioned employees against involvement in unlawful activities She warned that any staff of the Commission that tried to work with illegal perpetrators will face a disciplinary committee, according to the provisions of the existing laws.

The Director-General made this statement on Friday during a press briefing at the NIMC headquarters in Abuja. She emphasized that any staff caught collaborating with illegal entities would be subject to disciplinary proceedings under the applicable laws.

Mrs Odusote also expressed her commitment to streamlining processes to prevent unnecessary delays for visitors.

In addition, she announced that the Commission would be considering upward review of some of its rates.
