Nigeria’s U17 girls team, the Flamingos, will play their away match against Burkina Faso’s team on neutral ground, as FIFA has determined that Burkina Faso’s home venue in Ouagadougou does not meet the required standards.

The Burkinabe team has chosen to host the match in Bamako, Mali, on Saturday, 11th of May, at 4 pm Mali time.

The return leg would be held at the MKO Abiola National Stadium in Abuja on Saturday, 18th of May, at 4:30 p.m. Nigeria time.

The Confederation of African Football has appointed officials for the matches, with Suavis Iratunga from Burundi as the referee for the match in Bamako and Aline Umutoni from Rwanda as the referee for the return leg in Abuja.

The Flamingos’ delegation will depart from Abuja on Wednesday, 8 May.
