Vice President calls for patience as Federal Government tries to reposition economy

Vice President Kashim Shettima has urged Nigerians to remain patient and exercise some faith in the ability of the present administration the to reposition the economy.

The Vice President who made the call on Thursday at a Roundtable in Abuja, maintained that Nigeria was on the right track despite present challenges.

He said ongoing reforms which includes the removal of fuel subsidy – were necessary steps that had to be taken in order to salvage the country’s future.

The Vice President assured that Nigeria’s economy would soon experience significant growth once the present phase rolls over

He also reiterated government’s resolve to fight corruption without interference or favouritism as evident in ongoing high-profile cases being pursued by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC)
