Himma International College has held its 22nd inter-house sports competition – as part of a variety of activities lined up to enrich the school’s academic program

Speaking at the event which took place at the school’s premises in Minna at the weekend, the commissioner for Sport and youth development Mr. Yahaya Ibrahim Gulbin-Boka, appreciated the management and staff of the school while noting the immense contribution of sports to not just Niger state but Nigeria as a whole.

He promised to invite students who distinguish themselves during the competition to participate in national youth games.

The proprietor of the school Hajiya Hadiza Mamayaya Abdul also spoke on the importance of sports in an Academic setting.

The event which had the Sports Prefect of the Primary Section, Miss Garba Nafisat, deliver an impressive opening remark saw the White House take first position in the parade category followed by yellow and Red Houses which finished 2nd and 3rd respectively

However, the overall winner of the Inter-House Sports competition was Pink House followed by White House which came second and Blue House which finished third.
