The Nigeria Air Force (NAF) has killed at least 30 terrorists in an air strike in Birnin Gwari Local Government Area of Kaduna State.

In a statement issued yesterday by NAF Director, Public Relations and Information, Air vice Marshall Edward Gabkwet the strike followed intelligence received on the movement of the criminals along the axis.

He said the Intel also revealed that the terrorists were responsible for the ambush on troops at Kwanan Mutuwa on the 27th of January, as well as
several abductions of civilians in Birnin Gwari.

Air vice Marshall Gabkwet added that when the troops arrived at the location, two armed terrorists were sighted on 15 motorcycles.

He noted that the terrorists were trailed to a location before they were engaged and neutralised in a precision strike.
