Plateau State Governor Caleb Mutfwang has condemned the recent security breach in the Mangu Local Government Area of the state. This was revealed yesterday by the governor’s Director of Press and Public Affairs, Gyang Bere in Jos. According to him, Governor Mutfwang expressed concerns over the escalating security challenges that destroyed homes and livelihoods by suspected hoodlums.

It would be recalled that assailants had on the 23rd of January, killed 30 persons and destroyed properties in the Mangu Local Government Area of Plateau State. The governor extended his heartfelt condolences to the grieving families, affected communities and those injured in the incidents. He urged the state’s residents to remain vigilant and promptly report suspicious activities for swift intervention.

Governor Mutfwang called on security agencies to intensify efforts toward the return of peace in the state. He added that the state government had put all modalities in place to ensure the safety of lives and property of all citizens.
