Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago of Niger State has expressed his sympathies to the people of Kagara Emirate following the banditry attack in Garin Gabas Community.
The incident occurred over the weekend, during which two security personnel were injured, and three individuals were kidnapped in an armed confrontation with the gunmen.

In response to the attack, Governor Bago called on the people to remain vigilant and cooperate with relevant authorities by providing valuable intelligence. This proactive approach will aid in addressing the security situation effectively.

The Governor, in a statement released by his Chief Press Secretary, Bologi Ibrahim, described the attack as unfortunate and expressed his condolences to the families of the victims. He assured the citizens of Niger State that his administration is committed to ensuring the safety and protection of their lives and property.

Governor Bago also commended the bravery of the security personnel who engaged the bandits in a gun battle and pledged ongoing support for them. He offered prayers for the swift recovery of the injured security operatives and the safe return of the kidnapped individuals, who are currently receiving treatment at a government health facility in the state.
