The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) is set to release results for 379,000 candidates who took the rescheduled Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME)
The results have been revealed to come out on Wednesday, the 21st of May,
The resit examination was conducted from Friday to Monday, following widespread complaints of technical and human errors during the initial UTME, particularly in Lagos and the South-East.
JAMB spokesperson Fabian Benjamin confirmed the development, noting that affected candidates were previously notified via SMS.
Earlier, JAMB Registrar Prof. Ishaq Oloyede acknowledged lapses in the system and described the disruptions as sabotage.
Out of nearly two million candidates who sat for the original UTME, over 1.5 million scored below 200, while only 12,414 (0.63%) scored 300 and above.
