More than 1,600 people have been killed and thousands more injured in Myanmar; following a 7.7 magnitude earthquake that was also felt in neighbouring countries

One woman was pulled from the rubble on Saturday after being trapped for more than 30 hours in Mandalay, Myanmar, where at least 90 people are believed to be trapped under a collapsed apartment block

Authorities in Mandalay’s Amarapura township warn the public that there’s a possibility of another earthquake in the coming hours

In Thailand, 11 people are known to have died, and at least 50 construction workers are still missing after a high-rise building collapsed in Bangkok

Meanwhile, air strikes have continued in Myanmar, despite the disaster in the war-torn country
