The Nigerian Immigration Service says 61 foreign nationals were deported from the country in the month of August, 2024.
This was revealed in a report released during the weekend by the service, detailing its achievements for August 2024.
In the report, the reason for deporting the foreign nationals was to address and control the issue of irregular migration in the country.
This was however, not the first time immigration deported foreign nationals from the country.
Between 2020 and 2022, seventy foreign nationals were deported.
