The Police have once again summoned the President of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), Joe Ajaero, and the General Secretary, Emma Ugboaja, to appear at the Force Headquarters on 5th of September 2024.
This summon comes just 24 hours after Mr Ajaero responded to a previous police invitation regarding allegations of criminal conspiracy, terrorism financing, treasonable felony, subversion, and cybercrime.
In this new invitation, the NLC President and the General Secretary are being called to address allegations of criminal intimidation, actions likely to cause a breach of public peace, and malicious damage to property.
