The Nigerian Army says that its troops have eliminated several terrorists during engagements with bandits in the general areas of Kampani Doka and Rifigoro communities in the Birnin Gwari Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
This was revealed in a statement issued by the army, which also noted that the troops recovered a substantial number of dangerous automatic weapons and ammunition.
According to the statement, the troops recovered three AK-47 rifles, eight AK-47 magazines (four fully loaded with 120 rounds of 7.62mm Special), a magazine carrier, six motorcycles, three mobile phones, two Baofeng communication radios, and three pairs of civilian clothes.
