President Bola Tinubu has left the country to attend the China-Africa Cooperation Summit on the invitation of President Xi Jin-Pin

The Specicial Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, who disclosed this in a statement on Thursday said President Tinubu would have a stopover at the United Arab Emirates (UAE) before connecting to China

On arrival in China, the President is expected to hold discussions with President Xi and Chinese business leaders on the sidelines of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation.

President Tinubu’s trip comes amid a flurry of seizures of Nigerian assets by a Chinese firm, Zhong-shan Fucheng Industrial Investment Co. Limited.

A French court recently ruled in favour of the firm and granted the seizure of presidential jets belonging to the Nigerian government.
