President Bola Tinubu has approved the conversion of Dalhatu Araf Specialist Hospital, Lafia, to the Federal University of Lafia Teaching Hospital, Nasarawa, following a request by the State Government.
This was revealed in a statement made by the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale
The President mentioned that the conversion of the health facility to a federal teaching hospital would also enhance the training of students in medical and allied sciences.
He further stated that the conversion of the Specialist hospital would boost healthcare delivery in the state.
President Tinubu also expressed his commitment to ensuring the social welfare and healthcare security of citizens.
