WAEC Releases 2024 WASSCE Results: 93.39% of Nigerian Candidates’ Results Processed and Released. | Search Media

The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has released the results for the 2024 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE).

The examination body which made this announcement on Monday via its X (formerly known as Twitter) account …. advised candidates who sat for the exam to access their result by logging on to www.waecdirect.org.

The Head of the Nigeria National Office of WAEC, Amos Dangut, had earlier announced at a news conference in Lagos, that out of the total number of candidates that sat the examination in Nigeria, one million, six hundred and eighty-five thousand, eight hundred and eighty-nine (1,685,889) candidates, representing 93.39% have had their results fully processed and released.

He added that one hundred and nineteen thousand, three hundred and twenty-seven (119,327) candidates, representing 6.61% have one or more of their subjects still being processed due to undisclosed issues

He explained that the analysis of statistics of candidates’ performance in the examination showed that out of the one million, eight hundred and five thousand, two hundred and sixteen (1,805,216) candidates that sat the examination, one million, three hundred and thirty-two thousand and eighty-nine (1,332,089) candidates, representing 73.79%, obtained credit and above in a minimum of any five (5) subjects – with or without English Language and/ or Mathematics.

The hard copies of certificates of candidates whose results have been fully processed and released are expected to be ready within the next 90 days.
