Tinubu Condemns Borno Suicide Bombing as Cowardly Act of Terror | Search Media

President Bola Tinubu has condemned the suicide bombing in Borno State, describing it as cowardice and a desperate act of terror.

The Presidency issued a statement on Sunday conveyed by the presidential spokesman, Ajuri Ngelale, commiserating with the victims’ families as well as the Borno State Government

In the statement, President Tinubu described the attacks as a clear manifestation of the pressure mounted against terrorists and the success achieved in degrading their capacity to launch offensives

Tinubu said that the perpetrators of the violent act would have an encounter with justice and that these attacks were only an isolated episode, as his government would not allow the nation fall into an era of fear, sorrow, and blood.

The Commander-in-Chief maintained that his administration was taking necessary measures to secure citizens, and efforts will be redoubled to ensure that those disrupting law and order were completely removed.

Recall, on Saturday 18 people were killed when four suicide bombers set off improvised explosive devices (IEDs) in Gwoza, Borno State.
