Rangers International Football Club of Enugu have been officially crowned champions of the Nigerian Premier Football League for the 2023/2024 season.

The flying antelopes having confirmed they would finish top of the league with a game to spare, rounded up their campaign at the weekend with a 2-1 victory over Gombe United at the Zaria road stadium in Jos.

The victory meant the Antelopes have clinched their 8th league title with an amazing 70 points from 38 matches

Team captain Amobi Ezeakwu received the trophy and the winning prize of one hundred and fifty million naira from the Nigeria Football Federation president Ibrahim Musa Gusau.

Enugu Rangers will now represent Nigeria alongside Remo stars – in the next African Champions League competition.
