A 400-level student of Federal University Oye Ekiti in Ekiti State has been arrested over an alleged rape of a male colleague.
The National Association of Ondo State Students and the FUOYE Student Union have issued statements distancing themselves from the accused, declaring that he is neither a member nor affiliate of their organizations.
Both bodies on Tuesday emphasized their commitment to a safe environment for learning and promised to take necessary actions to ensure justice is served in the unfolding case
