The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) have announced their collaboration to address cybercrime and other emerging criminal threats.

EFCC Chairman Ola Olukoyede and FBI Director Christopher Wray met on Friday on Friday to enhance their partnership. Wray led a delegation of senior FBI officials, while Olukoyede was joined by top EFCC officials.

According to EFCC spokesman Dayo Oyewale, the two agencies have a long-standing relationship, and this meeting aimed to elevate their cooperation.

Mr Olukoyede emphasized the EFCC’s new focus on prevention, public awareness, and e-procurement to combat contract and procurement fraud.
