President Bola Tinubu has assured Nigerian workers that an executive bill on the new national minimum wage would the forwarded to the National Assembly for passage….in due course
The President made the promise this morning in his address to mark this year’s Democracy Day.
The assurance comes at a time when organized labour and Governor are at variance with regards to the sustainability of the N250,000 demand tabled by the NLC and TUC.
The tripartite committee on new minimum wage submitted its final report recommending N62,000 on Monday.
It is not immediately clear what figure the President would be forwarding to the National Assembly for passage.
