Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago has announced an upward review of anticipated monthly revenue N10 billion to N100 billion

The governor stated this on Wednesday in Minna during a lecture organized as part of the activities to mark his one year in office.

Governor Bago revealed that the the state presently generates N10 billion monthly as Internally Generated Revenue (IGR), representing over a 100% increase from the N4 billion inherited from previous administrations.

He explained that the ongoing projects across the state were just the beginning of his plans for a new Niger State.

Aside from the Governor, other speakers who spoke at the event included former Minister of Commerce, Engr. Mustafa Bello, and the former Vice-Chancellor of IBB University Lapai, Professor Nasiru Maiturare.

Both speakers urged Governor Bago to remain focused on his transformation agenda and to shun all forms of distractions from detractors
