President Bola Tinubu has reaffirmed the determination of the present administration to ensuring that children have a solid footing for the realization of their dreams.
The President made the declaration in a statement issued on Monday by his media aide, Ajuri Ngelale, in commemoration of this year’s Children’s Day celebration.
The President rejoiced with parents, guardians, and families across the nation and called for the reinforcement of the family unit as a place where the sacred values of honesty, modesty, hard work and charity are passed down to children whom he described as the shining lights of tomorrow.
The President reminded parents that the society is a reflection of each family unit, hence the need to preserve those principles that engenders a wholesome, nurturing, and thriving nation.
He reassured the nation of his commitment to ensuring a safe and secure ambience for learning while improving the standard of education.
Children’s Day is observed annually on the 27th May in Nigeria
