The Minister of Housing and Urban Development, Architect Ahmed Dangiwa, is set to launch a nationwide ground-breaking tour for the first phase of the ‘Renewed Hope’ Cities and Estates project.

This initial phase of the project which would include 1,250 housing units across four northern States – follows an official launch by President Bola Tinubu at the commissioning of a 3,112-unit housing project in Karsana, Abuja, in February.

The Minister will officially flag off construction activities at the following project sites

-250 housing units at Renewed Hope Estate in Katsina on Wednesday, the 22nd of May

-500 housing units at Renewed Hope City in Kano on Thursday, the 22rd of May

-250 housing units at Renewed Hope Estate in Yobe on Friday

And….

Another 250 housing units at Renewed Hope Estate in Gombe on Saturday, the 25th of May, 2024

The Minister said the exercise was a demonstration of Government’s commitment to turning the country into a huge construction site and unlock the potential of the housing sector to create jobs, catalyze economic growth and boost national development.
