The Nigerian Communications Commission has announced that voice and data services affected by the under-sea cable cuts have been restored.
In a statement issued on Monday by the Director, Public Affairs at the NCC, Reuben Muoka, services were said to have been restored to approximately 90 per cent of peak utilization capacities.
According to him, all operators who were impacted by the cuts have taken recovery capacity from submarine cables which were not impacted by the cuts.
The NCC Spokesman ultimately appreciated telecom consumers for their patience and understanding during the downtime caused by the under-sea fibre cuts.
