The F.U.TMinna alumni has always paid tributes to the late Professor of Aquaculture and Fisheries Technology, Professor Segun Oyero

In a statement made available to Search FM News on Sunday, the National President of the Association, Abubakar Isah, described the late Professor as an academic scholar who played a key role in the development of the Association having served as its National Treasurer at the early stages.

He also remembered Professor Oyero as the pioneer representative of the Alumni Association in the University Governing Council whose sterling qualities including his willingness to serve the University in several adhoc roles was worth recounting.

Professor Isah said the contributions of Professor Oyero will remain indelible in the hearts of every member of the University alumni even as he prayed that the Lord Almighty grant him eternal rest and give his family and the University Community the fortitude to bear the great loss.
