President Tinubu okays establishment of military barracks in Plateau | Search Media

President Bola Tinubu has called on the armed forces to intensify the fight against insecurity in the country. The President made the call over the weekend while speaking at an event marking the Diamond Jubilee of the Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) in Kaduna.

According to him, while successes have been recorded in the fight against insecurity, the “war against the enemies of Nigeria was not over”. He lauded the sacrifices of the Armed Forces to keep the country safe, promising the Federal Government’s continued support.

Aside from the President, dignitaries including Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State, three service chiefs, ministers, lawmakers, and top military officers were on the ground to witness the event
