Police confirms kidnap of passengers in Kogi. | Search Media

The Nigeria Police Force has confirmed the kidnapped of two buses and their passengers in Kogi State.
The Kogi State Police Public Relations Officer, SP William Ovye Aya confirmed the incident today in a statement made available to Newsmen.

It would be recalled that the incident happened on Saturday at Inele-Eteke Ogugu in Kogi East Senatorial district of the state.
The buses were heading to Abuja before suspected kidnappers intercepted them and drove the vehicles to an unknown destination.

SP Aya, who could not ascertain the actual number of passengers kidnapped during the incident, said the Divisional Police Officer and Local Vigilantes have been scouting the bushes to rescue the kidnapped victims.
