National Population Commission completes health survey in Kaduna. | Search Media

The National Population Commission (NPC) has completed the 2023-2024 Nigeria Demographic and Health Survey in 10 Local Government Areas of Kaduna State.

The State Director of the commission, Adama Othman, revealed this today in an interview with Newsmen in Kaduna.

She said the objective of the survey is to provide up-to-date information on fertility, maternal and child health, mortality and other health issues.

According to her, the areas covered were Kubau, Zaria, Kauru, Sabon Gari, Kudan, Makarfi, Giwa, Ikara, Soba and Lere.

The director added that other local governments to be visited include Kaduna North, Kaduna South, Igabi and Chikun.

She further noted that a cluster from Giwa LGA was abandoned due to security concerns.
