NDLEA Responds to Police Inquiry on Mohbad’s Death. | Search Media

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has affirmed its prompt response to an inquiry made by the Lagos State Police Command concerning allegations circulating on social media regarding the late singer, Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad.

During a press conference addressing the investigation into the untimely demise of Mohbad in Lagos, the Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Idowu Owohunwa, informed the public that they were still awaiting the results of the autopsy conducted on the late singer’s remains.

Additionally, the Commissioner mentioned the importance of receiving an “official response from the NDLEA” regarding allegations made by the singer concerning his experience at the agency’s office in October 2022.

In response to the Commissioner’s remarks, the NDLEA spokesperson, Femi Babafemi, stated that the agency had promptly addressed the police inquiry related to Mohbad.

Babafemi confirmed that the NDLEA’s response had been dispatched and received by the police on Thursday, the 28th of September, 2023.

He further emphasized that the agency had taken the matter seriously by sending the response by flight to Lagos, underscoring the urgency and importance attached to providing the requested information.
