Kylian Mbappe has refused to open talks with Al Hilal after the Saudi club had a record-smashing bid accepted by Paris Saint-Germain.
The French superstar was the subject of a 259 million pounds offer on Tuesday that would break the current world transfer record of 200 million pounds, paid by PSG to Barcelona for Neymar in 2017.
The bid was accepted by PSG, who are desperate to avoid losing Mbappe on a free transfer when his contract expires next summer.
A delegation from the Saudi Pro League side is in the French capital this week and hoped to oversee a transfer that would send shockwaves through the football world.
However, Mbappe’s representatives would not speak to them as he will not consider a move to the Middle East.

Al Hilal is in talks with Paris Saint-Germain for midfielder Marco Verratti.
The PSG midfielder has been linked with a move away from Parc des Princes in recent seasons and it appears that he has finally chosen the Saudi Pro League as his new destination.
At Al Hilal he would form part of what is not just one of the best midfields in the league, but in the world.
The club have already signed Ruben Neves from Wolves as well as Sergej Milinkovic-Savic from Lazio.
