The Federal Government has revealed says 69 Nigerians hitherto stranded in Lebanon, have returned to the Country.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr Geoffrey Onyeama, who made known on Monday via his Official Social Media Handles, said the returnees were evacuated with the help of the Lebanese government and the Lebanese community in Nigeria.
Mr Onyeama added that the 69 persons included 50 trafficked girls and 19 stranded Nigerians.
With the latest batch of returnees, it is worth noting that the Federal Government has now successfully evacuated 1,039 Nigerians from the United States of America, United Kingdom, United Arab Emirates (UAE), Saudi Arabia and Lebanon.
